About the role
Merchandiser Manager is responsible for providing excellent customer service, to the internal team’s they support, and the external customers they serve. Merchandising Manager provides/assign’s personnel for the following: stocking/merchandising various products, building displays, completing store resets, for all major chains, including club stores. More importantly the Merchandising Manager is tasked with training, coaching, mentoring, and preparing the merchandising team for advancement.
Job Description:
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to accounts, both internal/external
- Handle escalated customer service issues.
- Train, coach, and mentor team of sales merchandisers
- Hold sales merchandisers accountable while also empowering them.
- Oversee personnel timecards.
- Manage team schedule and team performance—Responsible for weekly calendar/schedule.
- Work closely with District Managers to make sure they have all the merchandising support they need.
- Support sales teams, as needed, by covering routes during absences.
- Reporting of daily activities—Monitor reports and communication
- Weekend/Holiday work required at times.
Candidate must pass criminal background and MVR.
