Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be
required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsibility for co-ordination and consolidation of monthly financials for Joints platform including Headcount reporting.
• Responsibility for co-ordination of Joints forecasting – Latest thinking, BP, JU ,NU,MTP, LRFP etc
• Business partnering with Joints Plant Financial controllers
• Business partnering with FP&A team for Joints related queries.
• Reporting of Absorbable, CNIS & Capital spend for both actual and forecast
• Assist the Depuy Synthes Finance Director and Finance Value Stream teams in providing accurate financial data in the form of platform P&Ls to the Depuy Synthes Leadership team
• Build relationships with global senior leadership & functional heads within the Depuy Synthes business and support them to drive sustainable growth
• Create value for the Depuy Synthes business by assisting in developing strategies with business partners to improve efficiencies and deliver business plan targets
• Drive financial accountability, ensuring that the financial implications of operational decisions are considered
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Essential:
• Bachelors degree or equivalent
• Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA accountant
Desirable:
• 3+ years of relevant multinational experience
• Supply chain finance experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record in multi-cultural business partnering
KEY COMPETENCIES
• Demonstrated record of strong leadership skills
• Ability to build effective partnering relationships using persuading and influencing skills
• Strong organization skills and an aptitude for planning
• Proficient skills in using systems such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Framing and communicating of complex data
• Demonstrated record of driving continuous process improvements
• Accuracy with attention to detail
• Ability to translate complex situations into simple working solutions
• Proactive approach
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
The anticipated base pay range for this position in Ireland is 63,300.00 - 113,700.00 EUR
In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
