About the role
The Role
As a Transformation Program Lead reporting to the Sr Director, Product Portfolio Operations & Transformation, you will shape and stand up the cross-functional programs that change how Nasdaq’s Financial Technology division operates and competes. You will work in the FinTech Strategy and Transformation Team, responsible for defining the strategic agenda for Nasdaq’s Financial Technology division. You will partner with senior stakeholders across Product Strategy, Product & Engineering, Client Experience, Sales, and Finance to execute on division-critical priorities.
You will thrive in this position if you’re a structured thinker who can turn ambiguity into a clear problem statement and program design, manage senior stakeholder relations, and communicate with executive presence in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Scope and stand-up transformation programs - define the problem, design the program structure, set targets and success measures, and set the execution plan.
- Run critical transformation programs end to end, including governance, milestones, dependencies, and escalation.
- Manage reporting and tracking for a defined set of key initiatives, ensuring leadership has a single, reliable view of progress and value.
- Support the FinTech strategic and transformation communications agenda, by producing executive-ready narratives and updates on the strategic priorities portfolio.
- Conduct targeted business reviews - deep-dive analysis that surface improvement opportunities and convert findings into scoped change programs.
- Support and drive the development of key business initiatives and associated business cases as needed, partnering with Product Strategy and Finance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, economics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, transformation- or enterprise program leadership in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Proven track record scoping and delivering large-scale strategic change programs -- AI and technology-enabled transformation, and cost and productivity programs are a plus.
- Strong structured problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear, executive-ready frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and hold senior stakeholders accountable without direct authority.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (English), including executive-level storytelling and materials.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or relevant certification
- Experience in financial services, fintech, capital markets, or other regulated industries.
- Ability to work across global teams and time zones.
