Project Manager – Strategic Initiatives (FinTech / FP&A)

This Project Management role provides support within a complex, fast-paced FinTech environment, with a strong emphasis on FP&A and process-driven initiatives. The Project Manager will contribute to the execution of multiple interdependent workstreams, helping to drive alignment, visibility, and progress across a highly cross-functional program. This role requires the ability to synthesize information from diverse stakeholders, translate discussions into actionable next steps, and proactively identify risks and dependencies that may impact delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong execution discipline, stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a high-visibility environment supporting senior leaders and large-scale transformation efforts.
 

This Hybrid Role (in office Tues-Wed-Thurs) is based in Malvern, PA (HQ). Candidate must reside within a commutable location.

Responsibilities

• Manages a project or workstreams within a broader project or program. Develops, implements, and monitors project plans. Contributes expertise to major project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.

• Provides insight into best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Ensures strategies are aligned with the overall department strategy.

• Communicates project status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and senior managers.

• Builds and maintains effective relationships. Proactively fosters communication between internal and external project stakeholders. Influences key decisions across stakeholder groups.

• Proactively identifies, manages, and mitigates risks and any related project issues. Communicates solutions on key issues or projects to management and stakeholders to obtain their input and buy-in as appropriate.

• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years related work experience. Two years of managing a project preferred. Financial Services or function-specific experience preferred.

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

• Demonstrated experience managing interdependent workstreams within a program environment and driving execution beyond status tracking

• Hands-on experience using Jira for project tracking, workflow management, and team enablement

• Experience supporting change management efforts in a project or program environment, including driving stakeholder adoption and process change

• Proven ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders, including executives, in fast-paced, complex environments

• Experience supporting process-driven or FP&A-related initiatives (e.g., workforce planning, financial modeling) or ability to quickly learn and apply these concepts
