RBC is seeking a Director, Distribution Transformation Program Manager to lead the orchestration and execution of large-scale distribution transformation initiatives across our evolving channel ecosystem. In this pivotal role, you'll serve as the strategic program leader to develop integrated transformation roadmaps, provide comprehensive program oversight, and ensure seamless execution across multiple workstreams and governance bodies. You'll partner closely with workstream leads, channel partners, and executive stakeholders to maintain strategic alignment, drive accountability through robust reporting frameworks, and enable our Transformation Office with precision and excellence. This is a mission-critical role where your program management expertise, stakeholder coordination skills, and operational leadership will directly enable RBC's distribution transformation success and competitive advantage.

What will you Do?

Program Strategy & Roadmap Management

  • Partner with workstream and channel leads to develop and maintain an integrated distribution transformation roadmap that aligns cross-functional initiatives
  • Collaborate with Workstream leaders to ensure roadmap coherence, strategic alignment and coordinate dependencies across all distribution channels and transformation workstreams

Program Oversight & Executive Reporting

  • Provide comprehensive program oversight and status reporting across all transformation elements to senior leaders and governance forums
  • Develop and maintain executive program dashboards that synthesize program health, milestone progress, and risk mitigation across the entire distribution transformation portfolio
  • Drive transformation value realization, transparency, and delivery velocity across multiple large-scale initiatives
  • Establish and maintain standardized processes, templates, and operating procedures that enable consistent transformation delivery

Program Execution & Governance Integration

  • Orchestrate program execution coordination across multiple workstreams while ensuring seamless connectivity to existing organizational governance forums and decision-making bodies
  • Integrate transformation initiatives into established enterprise governance structures and manage cross-program dependencies

Program Excellence & Change Management

  • Establish and monitor program management goals, milestones, and key deliverables while leading ongoing improvement of agile methodologies, processes, and standards
  • Drive large-scale change management and transformation across siloed teams to enable collective milestone achievement
  • Provide oversight, direction, and coaching to project practitioners within the program
  • Create transparency on benefits realization, resource allocation and contribute to enterprise agility and scaling transformation

What do you need to Succeed?

Must Have:

  • 10+ years' experience in strategy, large program execution, or transformation program management
  • Strong project/program management experience on multiple large cross-team initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent programs with competing priorities;
  • Proven track record of success with strong execution management and drive for results
  • Demonstrated ability to connect dots across complex organizations, interpret business challenges and provide clear recommendations and action plans
  • Author high quality program dashboards and develop presentations for senior leaders and governance forums, etc.
  • Exceptional communications and change management skills with proven ability to produce succinct documentation to guide discussions and decisions
  • Comfort with ambiguity and track record of turning operational inefficiencies into defined improvement initiatives
  • Customer-focused and results-oriented approach
  • Strong ability to impact and influence without formal authority while building relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Agile values, principles and frameworks, familiarity with Business Agility and Scaling Agile

Technical Skills:

  • Experience working with Powerpoint, Planview and collaboration tools such as Confluence, Jira, Webex Teams, MURAL, and Connect (Jive)
  • Self-starter comfortable thinking through disparate processes, systems, and solutions to leverage enterprise linkages

Nice to Have:

  • Post-secondary degree in business or business-related studies
  • Organizational awareness and consulting background
  • Experience in both business and IT/technology delivery
  • SAFe Agilist or Program Consultant designations
  • Change Management designations (e.g., Prosci ADKAR)
  • Experience delivering large-scale system implementations in complex environments
