In this pivotal role, you will be the analytical engine behind our advisory services. You will lead complex projects, develop proprietary tools, and translate data into actionable strategies that solve our clients' most challenging supply chain and real estate portfolio questions, ultimately aligning their logistics and real estate strategy
Job Description
Project Leadership & Execution:
- Lead and execute end-to-end supply chain consulting projects including network optimization, inventory optimization and managed analytics services.
- Translate complex client business problems into a clear analytical framework, defining project scope, methodology, and deliverables.
Tool & IP Development:
- Build and deploy proprietary data science tools and platforms to enhance our advisory services in supply chain modeling, site selection, inventory optimization, and sustainability modeling.
- Utilize optimization solvers (Gurobi, CPLEX, etc.), statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques to build robust and scalable solutions that serve as a cornerstone of our practice.
- Maintain and improve the codebase and architecture of existing analytical tools, ensuring they remain best-in-class.
Data Analysis & Strategic Insights:
- Perform sophisticated quantitative analysis using large, complex datasets to identify key trends, cost-saving opportunities, and operational improvements for clients.
- Create compelling data visualizations and presentations to communicate findings and strategic recommendations to client stakeholders, ensuring insights are clearly understood and actionable.
Team & Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with clients, brokers, and other cross-functional teams to integrate analytical insights into broader client engagements.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of analytical rigor, innovation, and continuous learning within the team
Required:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in quantitative fields such as Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Economics, or Statistics.
- Experience: 8-10 years of relevant experience, with proven success in a supply chain analytics, data science, or consulting role.
- Technical and Modeling Skills:
- Experience with dedicated supply chain design software (e.g., Coupa/LLamasoft, Blue Yonder, AIMMS).
- Familiarity with GIS tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) or optimization solvers (e.g., Gurobi, CPLEX, OR-Tools).
- High proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, etc.) or R.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Plotly.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong project management skills, and exceptional communication skills.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a relevant quantitative field.
- Prior experience in a client-facing or consulting environment.
- Experience deploying analytical models or applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
