Overview
Business Line Secure Connected Edge (SCE) is one of NXP’s largest and fastest‑growing businesses with multi‑billion‑dollar annual revenue and a broad global customer base spanning Automotive, Industrial & IoT , Mobile, Communication Infrastructure end markets.
We are seeking a senior business‑oriented finance professional to join SCE Central Finance team. This is a high-impact individual contributor role with broad exposure to Business Line finance, partnering closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations, R&D, and Commercial Marketing.
The role is designed to provide end‑to‑end exposure across core SCE central finance activities, through structured rotations and increasing scope over time. The successful candidate will be expected to operate with high autonomy, strong business judgment, and executive‑level communication, while building a foundation for future people‑manager or team‑lead responsibilities as the organization evolves.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the SCE Central Finance team, the candidate will rotate through and lead workstreams across several of the following areas:
- Business Line P&L Consolidation and Analysis
- Support SCE P&L consolidation & analysis, lead monthly/quarterly process for RFF (Rolling Financial Forecast), LV (Latest View), MEC (Month End Close), QEC (Quarter End Close)
- Gross Margin & Cost Analysis
- Perform Operation Expense analysis, provide meaningful insights to support cost management and decision‑making
- Perform gross margin analysis and provide insights on margin drivers
- Partner with Operations and Cost Accounting teams on product COGs analysis
- Support LTP (Long‑Term Plan) gross margin analysis & modeling in partnership business
- Inventory & Obsolescence Management
- Lead and support inventory obsolescence reviews. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess risk and recommend appropriate provisions
- Royalty Management
- Perform royalty tagging and analysis
- Review and validate royalty accruals to ensure accuracy
- R&D Portfolio & Project Finance
- Support R&D NPI portfolio analysis and investment prioritization
- Perform project cost analysis and support IFRS project accounting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
- 8+ years of experience in Business Finance, FP&A or Finance controlling roles within a global organization. Semiconductor, Technology, Manufacturing industries experience strongly preferred.
- Strong ability to build partnerships and influence outcomes with business stakeholders
- Proven capability to translate complex data into actionable business insights
- With continuous improvement mindset, streamlining processes and automation
- Highly collaborative, demonstrated executive presence with the ability to communicate clearly and present to senior stakeholders
- Strong prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic environment, ability to adapt to changing business needs
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint skills required, experience with Oracle financial systems (e.g., reporting, analysis), Power BI, advanced data analytics, AI‑enabled tools is a plus
