About the role
A Senior Validation Engineer responsible for leading validation activities, driving test automation, ensuring end-to-end validation coverage, and contributing to system-level quality improvements for radar and embedded platforms. The role requires a strong balance of test execution, automation, debugging, and technical ownership, along with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Skills & Expertise:
- Test execution and validation for embedded/radar systems
- Exposure to Python-based automation frameworks
- Hands-on experience with lab setup, hardware bring-up, and debugging
- Experience using measurement tools such as logic analyzers
- Basic knowledge of automotive radar validation (velocity, range, RF setups)
- Familiarity with LabVIEW/TestStand environments
- Strong collaboration and coordination skills in cross-functional teams
- Experience supporting lab infrastructure, procurement, and test environment readiness
- Lead and own validation for assigned modules/features, ensuring end-to-end test coverage from requirements to validation sign-off.
- Define test strategies, test plans, and validation approaches aligned with product requirements.
- Drive improvements in test coverage, traceability, and execution efficiency.
- Design, develop, and enhance automation frameworks (primarily Python-based) for validation workflows.
- Drive automation adoption across test cases, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and reusability.
- Integrate validation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines and release validation flows.
Domain Expertise :
Radar System Validation & Analysis
- Lead validation activities for automotive radar systems, including:
- Velocity, range, and angle validation
- RF test setups and antenna calibration
- Processing chain validation and result analysis
- Analyze complex validation failures and drive root cause investigation with development teams.
- Contribute to improving validation methodologies for radar signal processing workflows.
Hardware & Test Infrastructure Leadership
- Own lab infrastructure readiness including:
- Test bench setup and bring-up
- Hardware configuration and integration
- Validation environment stabilization
- Drive improvements in test infrastructure reliability and scalability.
Test Execution Excellence & Coverage Management
- Ensure high-quality test execution with accurate result validation and reporting.
- Drive:
- Test list consolidation
- Test synchronization across teams

- Mentor junior engineers on test execution and best practices.
