Your Impact

The primary purpose of this role is to serve as a key strategic leader to the VP, Supply Chain Operations by overseeing the strategy, planning, and execution of key priorities and initiatives within the Supply Chain portfolio. This role partners with cross-functional senior leaders to align initiative strategy, objectives, and key results while proactively driving all aspects of stakeholder management within their team. This role requires a strong combination of business, technical, and project management acumen, with an ability to influence and navigate conflicts. This role partners closely with key Supply Chain leaders to understand priorities and needs and is self-driven with strong communication skills to keep key leaders informed of portfolio status and results. This role drives transformational efforts across the Enterprise and Supply Chain organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead all large and complex initiatives within the assigned segments of the Supply Chain Portfolio

  • Partner with senior leaders to ensure initiatives are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals

  • Align the vision, goals, and resources of the team to meet the needs of the Supply Chain organization

  • Oversee the establishment and achievement of initiative Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle across all initiatives ensuring achievement of OKRs

  • Partner with finance leaders to establish business cases and measurement

  • Provide high-quality, hands-on management and coaching of team to become a high performing cross-functional enabler for Supply Chain

  • Provide oversights and understanding of business process redesign and drive change to improve business outcomes

  • Communicate progress and status of assigned segments while ensuring alignment across teams and leaders

  • Shape and influence key strategic decision-making efforts to keep initiatives moving forward

  • Consistently raise the bar and challenge the status quo while leveraging data to drive discussion and decision-making

  • Effectively communicate status, risks, decision needs, and any other issues at all levels within the organization

  • Manage total cost-to-serve and portfolio business impact for the Portfolio Execution function

  • Build, organize, recruit, hire, train, engage, and lead a highly competent team

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering, Operations Management or related field

  • 11-15 years of experience within Home Improvement or other retail sectors;  years of experience equivalent to an advanced education may be supplemented in lieu of a degree

  • 8-10 years of experience in leadership of managers and cross functional teams

  • 8-10 years’ experience in program management leadings large transformational initiatives

  • 8-10 years' experience in process improvement and change management


Preferences:

  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI or extensive experience using a PMI-based Project Management Methodology/Process Improvement methodology

  • Lean Six Sigma Certified
