About the position  

Location:  Katowice, hybrid model

The Central Material Planner is overseeing material planning in Europe; collecting and analyzing, data and plan improvements to support factory performance in inventory management (DOH and Non-moving stock), projects and material availability. Moreover, in this role you will be responsible for performing factory data aggregation functions to support procurement work.

 

You will be responsible for

  • Print slot management
  • RCCP process for pack materials
  • Obsolete reporting
  • Nonmoving stock management
  • DOH analysis and triggering improvement process (MOQ revision, LT revision etc.)
  • Strategic supplier collaboration - ex. stock builds, safety stock etc.

 

So, what does it take to be successful in this role? 

  • University degree in Science, Engineering or Economics degree, ideally with a Logistics or Supply Chain element
  • Supply Chain experience in FMCG or other relevant industry (Retailer or 3PL environment) preferable planning or analytics positions
  • MRP related SAP experience - other systems will be advantage
  • Advanced MS Excel - not only user but also report creation
  • Networking skills - gathering data from multiple parties
  • High analytical skills
  • Problem solving skills - good to know continuous improvement techniques like 5WHY
