Business Unit Strategy Analyst, Specialist

Leads analysis across partnership initiatives, bringing together market, competitive, and commercial insight to shape recommendations and inform decision making. Takes ownership of key workstreams that support the design, evolution, and performance of the Vanguard Europe partnership portfolio.

Core responsibilities

Advanced Analysis and Insight

·        Frames analytical questions and defines approaches for complex partnership and deal initiatives

·        Leads analysis for bespoke arrangements, assessing implications across data, reporting, and operations

·        Incorporates competitive and market context to inform partnership strategy and positioning

Data Interpretation and Insight Generation

·        Interprets, validates, and challenges complex data to generate clear, decision-relevant insights

·        Applies commercial judgement to explain implications, risks, and trade-offs

·        Ensures data accuracy and quality, structuring outputs into clear narratives with recommendations for stakeholders

Industry, Market, and Competitive Awareness

·        Conducts research on partnership models and strategic trends, translating findings into actionable insight

·        Maintains awareness of industry developments and aggregates relevant competitive intelligence

·        Applies market context to enhance the relevance and quality of analysis

Reporting and Storytelling

·        Produces high quality insight packs and materials to support partnership reviews and decision making

·        Tailors messaging to different stakeholders, ensuring clarity and impact

Broader Contribution, Collaboration, and Team Support

·        Operates independently at workstream level, presenting clear options and recommendations to support decisions

·        Builds effective relationships across partnership and various deal team stakeholders

·        Supports team capability through informal coaching and reinforces strong analytical standards

·        Contributes to wider projects and team priorities as required

Qualifications

• Significant related experience

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
