What this opportunity involves:
We are seeking a Transaction Manager to perform a range of general property leasing functions across Telstra's Retail & Commercial portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to work within a multi-disciplined Property team servicing the requirements of our valued client.
The successful candidate will be based on-site at Telstra’s office in either Melbourne or Sydney CBD.
Please note that this is a fixed-term contract until 31st August 2026 with potential for an extension or conversion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consolidate general market research reports and perform lease abstraction and database management
- Manage critical date reporting on the property portfolio and prepare work in progress reports
- Review lease documentation and support senior team members on property transactions
- Manage and coordinate property portfolio activities across the Telstra account
- Prepare cash flow analyses for business case submissions
- Undertake other tasks as requested by management with a high degree of independence
- Ensure consistent completion of negotiating, documenting, reporting, and closing out property transactions
Key Skills & Requirements
- Current Real Estate License or Certificate of Registration
- Proven background in client-facing tenant representation and/or leasing role, ideally for retail or commercial
- Strong ability to understand and interpret commercial contracts and leases with accurate data management
- Experience with lease administration and property management databases preferred
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and address complex problems within an ever-changing environment
- Excellent planning, organisational, and financial analysis skills to meet tight deadlines
