Job purpose
Location
Viana do Castelo plant, Portugal
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support in the assurance of the BW policies and procedures by the Supply Chain team
- Comply with environmental, health, and safety at work regulations, quality, and productivity standards.
- Ensure alignment and standardization of processes across Supply Chain
- Coordinate change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with continuous improvement and compliance objectives
- Lead and support process mapping
- Lead or contribute to training sessions for users on new processes and tools
- Develop and maintain work instructions, RASCI matrices, and process documentation for supply chain activities
- Support Export Control Classification activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Coordinate and support IMDS & APA processes, including credentials, training, and testing phases
- Participate in SAP-related projects (automation initiatives)
- Support, including cross-functional coordination in daily tasks
- Support evaluation and development of indirect suppliers, including database and performance tracking
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Technical diploma in related area
Bachelor Degree in Management/Economy/Engineering (preferred)
Knowledge in area valuable
Knowledge in software skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge in ERP SAP (preferred)
Interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills required
Proficiency level Portuguese (spoken and written)
Good English language skills (spoken and written)
Eligibility for a Professional Internship Contract by Portuguese Law
