Title: Assistant Attorney General

 

Unit: Conservation

 

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience and qualifications

 

Location: Oklahoma City, OK, or Tulsa, OK

 

The Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Attorney General for our Conservation Unit.

 

Position Summary:

The Conservation Unit serves as liaison counsel to state environmental agencies and provides legal counsel and representation in litigation which involves special expertise in the areas of administrative and environmental law. The ideal candidate will display good judgment, be detail-oriented, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have experience handling complex cases.

 

Qualifications:

Applicants must be, or be eligible to become, licensed attorneys in the State of Oklahoma. Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills are required. Preference will be given to applicants experienced in civil litigation.
