You Magazine is the go-to destination for 40+ women seeking empowering fashion, lifestyle and beauty expertise. We are experts in creating viral video and our content is viewed millions of times a month, with a roster of rapidly increasing commercial clients.

 

The Role

We are looking for a social media obsessed content creator, specialising in beauty content. You’ll love coming up with big ideas for entertaining video formats for our 40+ audience with focus on fashion and lifestyle, with a real passion and deep understanding of beauty content and trends

 

Responsibilities of the Role

• Working with the Head of Channel and content team to create innovative video and static content for You’s social platforms, informed by current trends and data
• Produce, star in and host both editorial and commercial content, across all our platforms
• Manage ideas from initial concepts to storyboarding, producing and publishing
• Organise shoots from booking locations and influencers to calling in relevant products and props
• Brief videographers on shot lists, edits and post-production
• Build relationships with PRs to ensure latest fashion and beauty products are incorporated into content ideas
• Use analytics to inform future content decisions and update relevant stakeholders on performance

 

The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

• Proven experience in creating high creative and entertaining content for TikTok and Instagram
• Experience running or contributing to social platforms with an engaged audience
• A confident presenter and presence on camera
• A big thinker with an appetite for disruptive ideas
• A passion for women’s interest categories, particularly beauty
• Strong relationships with beauty industry contacts
• Highly organised, strong attention to detail and comfortable working on a fast-paced desk

 

*Whilst you are not required to be a videographer, competence with in app video editing is required.

*Option for this role to be part time
