The Production Coordinator is responsible for implementing daily build schedules for each respective value stream production lines based on the master production schedule to maximize sequence and fill rate requirements. Reviews material requirements daily and provides a list to and follows up with materials team to insure schedule attainment.

 What Will You Do? 

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for: 

  • Plan and post daily sequence and schedule based upon the master schedule.
  • Analyzes material status daily to ensure 100% fill rate.  Considers on-hand, inbound, and scheduled materials for issues.

  • Communicates with materials team and production supervisors regarding any schedule changes and sequence requirements.

  • Sends notifications to scheduling supervisor if weekly fill rate goal is at risk.

  • Coordinates engineering changes with the manufacturing engineering team and appropriate contacts within the production team.

  • Participate in problem solving and process improvement activities.

  • Maintain process control systems and supporting paraphernalia (Heijunka cards, pick-to-light cards, schedule boards, etc.).

  • Assist with inventory accuracy activities by tracking production scrap and interacting with the cycle count team

  • Must be able to work in office environments and plant/production environments.

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following required  minimal requirements: 

  • High School diploma or GED (or equivalent).

  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel.

  • Must be a quick learner and self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision and oversight.

  • Experience with SAP preferred.

  • Experience with Lean methods (just-in-time, kanban, design for flow) preferred.

  • Competitive Salary A reasonable estimate for this opportunity is $20.00 - 25.00 an hour.  The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location.
