About the Role 

We are looking for an experienced Associate Director/Director, Product Management – Conversational AI Advertising to lead the development of advertising solutions for AI chatbot and conversational interfaces. 

Conversational AI is rapidly becoming a new interface for discovery, recommendations, and commerce. As users shift from browsing feeds and search results to interacting with AI assistants, a new category of advertising inventory is emerging. 

In this role, you will define how advertising works inside AI-driven conversations and build the platform capabilities required to monetize conversational AI inventory at scale. 

You will drive the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution while collaborating closely with engineering, data science, marketplace, and go-to-market teams. 

This is an opportunity to help define a new advertising category and build the infrastructure that connects conversational AI platforms with advertisers and commerce partners.

 

What You'll Do:

As a member of our product management team, you'll be responsible for creating the vision, strategy, design, and execution of conversational advertising solutions within our platform. 

Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for conversational AI advertising across our product portfolio. 

Lead product discovery efforts to determine how advertising should operate within conversational interfaces while preserving user trust and delivering advertiser value. 

Translate advertiser, publisher, and platform needs into scalable monetization products for conversational inventory. 

Design and build systems that support: 

  • conversational ad formats 
  • intent and conversation-context signals 
  • targeting and eligibility models 
  • auction and ranking mechanisms 
  • advertiser onboarding and campaign management 
  • attribution models for multi-turn conversational discovery 

Partner closely with engineering and machine learning teams to develop the infrastructure required to integrate conversational inventory into the programmatic advertising ecosystem. 

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through launch and iteration, ensuring alignment with marketplace and revenue objectives. 

Collaborate with sales, partnerships, product marketing, and customer success teams to define go-to-market strategies and drive adoption with advertisers and conversational platform partners. 

Measure product performance, analyze marketplace dynamics, and iterate to improve advertiser performance and publisher monetization. 

Stay current on developments in AI, conversational interfaces, commerce platforms, and advertising technology to inform product strategy.

 

Who You Are 

7+ years of experience in Product Management, including significant experience in advertising technology, programmatic marketplaces, or large-scale ad platforms. 

Deep understanding of ad marketplace dynamics, including auctions, targeting systems, advertiser workflows, and measurement frameworks. 

Proven track record of launching and scaling platform products or new inventory types within complex advertising ecosystems. 

Strong technical fluency with the ability to collaborate closely with engineering and data science teams on systems involving ranking models, signal processing, or marketplace infrastructure. 

Experience translating ambiguous opportunities into clear product strategy and shipped platform capabilities.
