What you'll be doing:
WPP is seeking a client finance analyst who will be responsible for:
• Providing analytical support to the agency and to the director of client finance, including the analysis of monthly results to provide insight on key growth drivers and trends as well as operational risk and opportunities.
• Providing pricing analysis to support new business efforts and existing accounts.
• Supporting the improvement of company-wide financial controls to ensure accurate, consistent and timely reporting of financial data, including the review and restructuring of the existing information flows and controls
• Interfacing with client services and project teams to assess project performance to ensure timely and accurate billings and revenue recognition
• Supporting our the billing function for clients and reporting as needed
• Monitoring ongoing client expenditure patterns and identifying areas for improved performance
• Collaborating with client finance managers to review utilization and expenditure patterns in support of account budget objectives
• Administering the project management system and liaising with external consultants on system improvements
• Preparing accurate and timely ad hoc client financial reporting
What you'll need:
• BS in finance or accounting
• 2+ years of financial analysis experience
• High level of analytical and quantitative skills
• Ability to work with all levels of management
• Strong in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables
