As AI and cloud drive the demand for increased speed, capacity and capability, QTS has emerged as the global digital infrastructure leader, committed to connecting the world for good. Driven by purpose and fueled by a spirit of innovation, QTS designs, builds and operates some of the world’s most advanced, forward-thinking data centers. QTS is a portfolio company of Blackstone.
QTS is Powered by People. People who play a vital role in our company’s culture, innovation and growth. People who are committed to contributing to the communities where we operate and work. People who are knowledgeable, resourceful and mission driven. Together, we do great things.
Who You Are:
The Global Process Owner (GPO), Integrated Business Planning (IBP) is accountable for the design, standardization, governance, and integrity of the IBP process across QTS. This role ensures IBP is executed consistently, predictably, and with appropriate controls across all functions, regions, and planning horizons.
The IBP GPO operates within the enterprise GPO operating model, partnering closely with the IBP Director or Senior Director (who owns the IBP management system, executive cadence, and outcomes) and the GPO Leader (who governs enterprise‑wide process standards and consistency). The IBP GPO does not own business results or executive decision forums; instead, this role ensures the process, data, controls, and standards underlying IBP are decision‑grade and scalable.
What You Will Do:
IBP Process Ownership & Governance
- Own end‑to‑end accountability for the IBP process domain, including process boundaries, decision points, controls, and escalation paths across demand, supply, financial, capital, and capacity planning.
- Define and maintain the IBP process taxonomy (L1–L5), including standardized definitions, ownership, handoffs, and documentation aligned with enterprise process standards.
- Establish and enforce IBP process governance, including planning stage gates, reconciliation rules, approval frameworks, and exception handling.
- Manage intake, prioritization, and sequencing of IBP process changes, assessing enterprise impacts, risk, and control implications.
- Ensure IBP process governance aligns with enterprise initiative and process governance frameworks.
Standards, Controls & Data Integrity
- Develop and maintain standardized IBP artifacts, including process maps, SOPs, calendars, RACIs, control points, and KPI definitions.
- Define and govern critical IBP data elements and assumptions, including ownership, lineage, validation rules, and data quality thresholds.
- Partner with systems and data teams to translate IBP process standards into system requirements and embedded controls.
- Apply and evolve the GPO Playbook to ensure consistent documentation depth, governance rigor, and audit readiness.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Define and maintain IBP process KPIs focused on planning effectiveness, timeliness, compliance, and decision readiness.
- Maintain transparent dashboards highlighting performance, variation, and exceptions across the IBP cycle.
- Use analytics and process insights to identify bottlenecks, control gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Drive prioritized process improvements that strengthen consistency, comparability, and scalability.
Enablement & Adoption
- Support adoption of IBP standards through training guidance, communications, readiness criteria, and compliance reinforcement.
- Coordinate rollout of IBP process changes with the IBP Director / Senior Director and enterprise change partners.
- Reinforce disciplined planning behaviors and adherence to enterprise standards.
Scope and Impact
- Enterprise‑wide ownership of IBP process standards and controls
- Regular interaction with senior functional leaders and process councils
- Direct influence on planning consistency, data integrity, and decision quality
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need to Be Successful:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in IBP, S&OP, enterprise planning, or global process ownership.
- Demonstrated success establishing governance, standards, controls, and KPIs in complex environments.
- Strong influence skills in matrixed organizations without direct authority.
Nice to Have:
- Advanced degree and certifications (Lean Six Sigma, PMP) a plus.
- Experience with process analytics or process mining platforms preferred.
