About the role

We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master and Agile coach to join our Mobile Apps team in Software Solutions, part of R&D Hearing. In this role, you will contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Agile Release Train (ART), by deepening the team’s and ART’s maturity in Scrum and SAFe. You will play a key-role in cross-team alignment, continuous improvement, and effective team dynamics across the train.  The role is part of our Hearing Applications ART, where we develop cloud, mobile, and desktop applications, and you will report to the Director of Mobile Apps.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Serve as a "senior” Scrum Master and coach for a single or multiple Agile Teams and as a coach/mentor for other Scrum Masters

  • Bring strong practical knowledge of Scrum, and know how to apply its principles with depth and integrity rather than treating it as a set of rituals

  • Champion SAFe/Scrum Core Values and Principles across the ART and ensure consistent application of SAFe/Scrum practices

  • Support the Agile maturity of teams

  • Coach teams on Lean Agile and SAFe practices

  • Contribute to Agile and SAFe enablement initiatives (training, workshops, communities of practice) within the organization

  • Use data and insights to drive improvement, including metrics related to flow, predictability, quality, and value delivery. And can coach into this.

  • Partner closely with Product Owners, Product Management, and Release Train Engineer (RTE) to align priorities and delivery

  • Support the creation and sustainability of effective teams, addressing team dynamics and engagement

  • Ensure effective and transparent communication between teams, stakeholders, and leadership

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

  • Have extensive experience as Scrum Master in scaled Agile/SAFe and other frameworks for a robust knowledge platform.

  • Have coached multiple Agile teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders to improve collaboration, ownership, and delivery outcomes

  • Solid technical and product understanding in a software environment

  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Do know about product mindset and have been driving changes from output to outcome.

  • Is tools agnostic, but knowledge about AzureDevOps is a plus

  • Have a solid tool box of facilitation techniques

At GN we pride ourselves on encouraging flexible working whenever possible. We trust our people to fulfill their responsibilities, to know when in-person collaboration is better than hybrid, and to be present when it's needed most.

We encourage you to apply

Even if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we welcome your application if you think you have transferable skills. We highly value a mindset and motivation that align with our core values, to not only ensure growth for you, but for your team and the wider GN organization as well.

We are focused on an inclusive recruitment process

All applicants will receive equal consideration for employment. As such, we encourage you to submit your CV without a photo to ensure an equal and fair application process.

Should you have any special requirements for the interview, please let the Hiring Manager know upon accepting the invitation to interview.
