Are you passionate about revolutionising autonomous driving? At NVIDIA, we're on a mission to build the next generation of AI-native autonomous driving systems. Our team in Shanghai, China, stands at the forefront of blending classical safety architectures with powerful AI-based systems. Join us and help define the future of autonomous vehicles!
What you'll be doing:
As a Senior Autonomous Driving System Engineer, L4, you will be central to crafting and constructing the architecture behind next-generation autonomous driving systems. Your work will involve:
Building the main stack for autonomous driving, concentrating on prediction, decision-making, planning, and control architecture.
Crafting robust system-level safety and fallback strategies within classical safety stacks.
Implementing end-to-end data-driven AV pipelines and large-scale model inference architectures.
Integrating classical and end-to-end hybrid systems, ensuring seamless scalability from research to production.
Collaborating with a world-class team of engineers to build a unified production platform that sets new standards in the industry.
What we need to see:
We are looking for engineers who can build comprehensive systems and not just individual components. You should have:
A BS or higher in an engineering or technical field (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Physics, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
At least 6 years of hands-on experience in developing production autonomous driving systems.
Proficiency in forecasting, scheduling, and control frameworks for autonomous vehicles.
Experience with AI foundation models, large-scale ML systems, and end-to-end driving models.
A strong background in robotics or embodied AI systems and system architecture from concept to scale.
Successful candidates will bring deep technical expertise in autonomy architecture, ML systems, or robotics platforms and thrive on solving complex real-world problems. If you're ambitious and have a proven track record of developing flawless, world-class systems, this is the place for you!
