Summary of Job:

We are seeking an experienced Account Director to lead new business growth across the Quebec automotive market.

This senior-level outside sales role is responsible for expanding our dealer and dealer group partnerships by building strategic relationships and securing new marketplace agreements. The ideal candidate brings strong automotive industry experience, an established network within the Quebec dealer community, and the ability to engage executive stakeholders with credibility and professionalism.

This is a high-visibility role within the AutoTrader organization, responsible for driving strategic expansion and delivering measurable growth across Quebec.

What you'll do:

Market Expansion & New Partnership Development

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to expand our footprint across Quebec.
    • Leverage existing industry relationships and proactively cultivate new connections within dealership and dealer group networks.
    • Identify, engage, and secure new dealership and dealer group partnerships.
    • Lead thoughtful, consultative sales conversations focused on long-term value creation.
    • Navigate multi-stakeholder decision processes and close complex agreements.

Executive Engagement & Industry Presence

  • Build trusted relationships with Dealer Principals, General Managers, and executive leadership teams.
    • Deliver polished, data-driven presentations tailored to dealership and group-level business objectives.
    • Represent the organization professionally within industry events and the broader automotive community.

Collaboration & Internal Alignment

  • Work closely with Account Management to ensure seamless onboarding and strong initial account performance.
    • Partner with Marketing, Finance, and Sales Leadership to structure competitive proposals and pricing strategies.
    • Provide insights on Quebec market trends, competitive positioning, and dealer sentiment.

Pipeline & Performance Management

  • Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified new business opportunities.
