Job Description

Job Purpose:

Data and Regulatory Operations (DRO) is responsible for providing authoritative sources of reference data to our clients across the organization, through implementing state of the art technologies which promote the collection, storage, analysis, and distribution of product, pricing, account and corporate action data. The DRO organization works in partnership with data clients across all business lines, deploying solutions to increase their competitiveness, through restructuring business processes, simplifying information access, and providing business intelligence around critical data.

The Account and SSI Operations (ASO) is responsible for opening and maintaining customer sub-accounts reference data, and actively ensuring that customer data details and settlement instructions across a variety of systems remain up to date. The team will work closely with Sales, Middle Office, KYC and Global ASO teams to ensure that a globally consistent model is followed with respect to this critical reference data. The team ensures that statutory and regulatory obligations are met when new relationships with clients are established. Before trading occurs, the ASO team will verify all details of the client from a regulatory and control perspective for Institutional Client Accounts for Equities, Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange business units.

The Reference Data Services Analyst 2 is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data with an understanding of the unit’s standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of unit’s practices and standards. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Responsibilities:

  • AI Adoption & Innovation: Champion the integration and responsible use of AI tools to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and decision‑making across the team.
  • AI Metrics & Insights: Design, implement, and analyze AI adoption metrics, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights to inform leadership and strategic direction.
  • AI Enablement & Execution: Support AI initiatives through data preparation, tool testing, documentation, and hands‑on use of AI for tasks such as summarization, drafting, and analysis.
  • Strategic Contribution: Identify opportunities to scale AI capabilities and contribute to the team’s long‑term AI strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaboration & Operational Continuity: Partner with internal teams, external stakeholders, and site champions to ensure seamless execution of projects, adaptability to change, and continuity of operations.
  • Operational & Logistical Excellence: Maintain operational stability by managing schedules, communications, documentation, resources, inventories, and coordination of meetings and events.
  • Risk & Compliance Management: Assess risks in business decisions, safeguard the firm’s reputation, and ensure adherence to laws, policies, ethical standards, and transparent issue escalation.
  • Workplace Safety & Site Support: Act as a key point of contact for facilities and technology partners while supporting a safe, secure, and well‑maintained workplace environment.

Qualifications:
Core Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in client/counterparty/account data management/AI utilization
  • Experience with AI Tools & Platforms: Demonstrated experience in utilizing AI-powered tools and platforms to enhance business processes, drive efficiency, and solve complex problems.
  • Data & Metrics Expertise: Proven ability to develop, track, and analyze performance metrics. Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel) is essential.
  • Exceptional Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for translating complex data and technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences, including leadership.
  • High Adaptability & Eagerness to Learn: A strong track record of quickly mastering new technologies and thriving in a dynamic, fast-evolving work environment.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify challenges, analyze trends, and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Team-Oriented & Collaborative: A reliable team player with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work collaboratively, providing support to ensure team success and project continuity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strategic Mindset: Experience contributing to strategic planning and a demonstrated ability to connect daily tasks to broader business objectives.
  • Project Management Familiarity: Experience leading or contributing to cross-functional initiatives from conception to completion.
  • Advanced Analytics: Experience with statistical programming languages like Power BI for data analysis is a significant plus.

Education:
Bachelor/university’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
