About the role
VCA Yucca Valley Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team.
Location: 57185 29 Palms Hwy, Yucca Valley, CA 92284
Wage range: $19 - $22
Schedule: Full-Time, 4-day, 10-hour shift with alternating Saturdays
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Previous experience or training/education working in a veterinary facility preferred.
Must be friendly, outgoing, and “people-oriented.”
Excellent communication skills.
Telephone and computer skills are necessary.
Must be a team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments and to accept change.
Physical Requirements:
Dependable attendance is required.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
This position requires the ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during an 8-hour day.
