We are now looking for a

Assistant Business Controller

to join the Business Control team in Global Spares Supply in Hyvinkää, Finland.

In this position, the Assistant Business Controller collaborates with stakeholders in driving and monitoring business performance by providing financial insight. She/he supports with ensuring KONE business activities are conducted in accordance with the KONE Financial Control Model (FCM), and that financial impacts are measured and reported following the KONE accounting standards and instructions. 

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing activities, including preparation of reports and performance analysis

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes  

• Partner with business stakeholders by providing financial insights, reports, and calculations to support operational and decision-making needs

• Contribute to finance process improvements, development initiatives, and cross-functional business projects

• Perform credit controlling activities and other recurring monthly finance tasks in line with KONE policies and controls. 

We expect you to have

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or relevant field 

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in management accounting and/or financial accounting  

• Knowledge in accounting and financial processes  

• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems, as well as reporting and consolidation applications, and BI tools  

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken  

• Excellent communication, problem‑solving skills and ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines 

• Analytical, self‑driven, and quick to learn new concepts.
