Description:
Summary:
This position is responsible for the procurement of blood specimens via venipuncture or skin puncture technique, preparation of specimens for testing, and processing and accessioning of specimens.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
2. Valid Phlebotomy certification with the State of California Department of Health Services is required.
3. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
4. Minimum one year of phlebotomy experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
5. Excellent venipuncture and effective communication skills are required.
Pay Range: $22.51- $31.53
