Financial Analyst

Role: Financial Modeler / Finance Expert (Multiple Domains)

Engagement: Contract · Remote (LATAM / Global)

Hours: 15–40 hours/week · Flexible, asynchronous work.

Overview

We are partnering with a U.S.-based technology company building advanced AI systems focused on financial modeling and decision-making.

The goal is to train AI to think like real financial professionals, how models are built, how assumptions are evaluated, and how financial decisions are made in real-world scenarios.

This is a hands-on role where you will build, review, and improve financial models, while clearly explaining the logic behind them.

What We’re Looking For

We are prioritizing financial professionals with strong modeling experience across areas such as:

• Credit & Risk Modeling

• Corporate Finance / FP&A (driver-based models)

• Treasury & Cash Flow Modeling

• SaaS / Pricing & Unit Economics

• Growth / Funnel Economics

• Accounting & Financial Statements (U.S. GAAP)

• Real Estate / Project Finance

Experience in Investment Banking or Valuation is a plus, but not the primary focus.

What You’ll Do

• Build financial models from scratch across different use cases

• Review and validate models developed by others

• Identify inconsistencies, risks, and incorrect assumptions

• Analyze relationships across financial statements and cash flows

• Clearly explain financial logic, assumptions, and decision-making

• Translate real-world financial thinking into structured outputs

What Makes a Strong Candidate

• 2–10 years of experience in finance roles with strong modeling exposure

• Proven ability to build models from scratch (not just use templates)

• Strong understanding of how financial decisions are made in practice

• Experience working with real business drivers (not just valuation outputs)

• High attention to detail and analytical rigor

• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English required)

Nice to Have

• Experience with credit underwriting, lending, or risk modeling

• Exposure to SaaS metrics (CAC, LTV, retention, pricing)

• Treasury or liquidity modeling experience

• Accounting / audit background with modeling exposure

• Experience working with U.S. clients or U.S. GAAP

• Familiarity with data tools (SQL, Python, BI tools)

Not a Fit If

• Your experience is primarily limited to valuation models, pitch decks, or transaction support

• You have not built financial models from scratch

• Your work is focused only on reporting, bookkeeping, or accounting operations

• You are not comfortable explaining financial reasoning clearly
