About the role
The Billing Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across Cash Application and Billing Account Management functions. This role is responsible for end-to-end accounts receivable (A/R) oversight, including ownership of escalations, client-facing issue resolution, and partnership with internal teams such as Sales and Finance. The position also plays a key leadership role in supporting billing technology modernization efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
- Lead and oversee daily operations for Cash Application and Billing Account Management teams
- Ensure service standards, SLAs, and turnaround times are consistently achieved or exceeded
- Drive productivity, service quality, and operational efficiency across billing functions
A/R Management & Escalations
- Own and resolve complex A/R escalations, including direct client engagement
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and internal stakeholders to resolve billing issues
- Monitor and mitigate financial risk through proactive management of receivables
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage, coach, and develop team members to improve retention, engagement, and performance
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high service delivery
- Align team goals with broader organizational priorities and transformation initiatives
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 78,400 - 130,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
