Meet the team:
Our Dexcom team is looking for the right teammate to support the start-up and ramp-up of our first European manufacturing site in Athenry. In this role, you will work closely with manufacturing teams and IT project groups to enable smooth development and delivery of site manufacturing systems.
Reporting to an Engineering Manager, this dynamic role will see you working with a wide range of different functions locally and globally. The role will play an integral part of our digital factory journey at Dexcom Athenry.
Where you come in:
In this exciting role, you will work with local and global systems teams to design, develop, and implement improvements to manufacturing systems such as:
Manufacturing Management Systems
Manufacturing Execution Systems
Asset Management Systems
You will link manufacturing teams and manufacturing systems teams in the development and implementation of key continuous improvement projects to support the site start-up and ramp-up
You will form part of our Digital Factory implementation team
You will link with cross-functional groups such as IT, production, automation, supply chain, engineering, and quality to identify and best utilize digital solutions.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT operations group to develop, maintain, and validate BOMs and manufacturing routers.
You will collaborate with our automation groups to enable preventative and predictive maintenance and IT/OT connectivity, and innovate new digital solutions for the site.
You will provide support and training to internal teams on manufacturing systems usage and manufacturing documentation
You will perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the team and business objectives
What makes you successful:
Experience with Manufacturing Management Systems in manufacturing modules (eg. BOM, Work in Process, Inventory)
Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems
Experience working in a regulated environment, with CSV and validation processes.
Exposure to preventative and predictive maintenance, IT/OT connectivity, SCADA, and/or sensor technologies.
Exposure to digital work instructions, Industry 4.0, 5.0 experience
Exposure to lean principles and operational excellence (OpEx)
Ability to run self-directed projects, maintain timelines, stay organized, and balance multiple activities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to deal with ambiguity and a willingness to try new and challenging things.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with many diverse groups
Experience and Education Requirements:
Typically requires a Bachelors (Hons) Degree in Engineering, Business Systems, or related field with 5+ years related experience preferred or an Masters in Engineering, Business Systems, or related field with 3+ years related experience.
