Cost Analyst - Site Controlling

As Controlling Business Partner to the Site Management and member of the local Controlling team, you will manage and control all finance tasks associated with the Visp manufacturing operations.
Essential Job Functions:
- Analyses of site and asset performance (e.g. asset utilization, costs of goods sold, profitability)
- Monthly closing and reporting incl. forecast, with responsibility for all closing relevant activities
- Ensure timely and correct processing and analysis of contractual agreements
- Accountable for correct product costing, allocations incl. analyses across the site with different assets and BU’s
- Responsible that the site is compliant to internal and external standards
- Financial support to steer decisions on site (e.g. investment calculation)
- Business insights and content (technical) knowledge is important
- Drives improvements in operations in close collaboration with key business stakeholders on site
- Full scope budget and financial planning (cost planning, product costing, capex, etc.)
- Responsible for all site related R2R activities incl. IC with support from the service organization
Qualifications & Experience:
- Completed BSc in Business Administration, Finance or Economics (MSc preferred)
- 3-5 years' experience in financial controlling
- Fluent English is must; German is an advantage
- Driving work attitude as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- Resilient and team-oriented personality
- International exchange and project support may require occasional travel
- Able to grasp new concepts quickly and to assimilate/evaluate scientific data
- Strong influencing/negotiation and communication skills
