This position reports to:
Trade & Transportation Manager__
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for local import/export operations. Each day, you will supervise performance of customs brokers. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring smooth execution of operational trade and customs activities within a local unit, including relevant documentation and compliance with regulations.
The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite
This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions business in San Luis Potosi.
Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Monitoring daily import/export shipments and ensures smooth customs clearance via the appointed customs brokers.
Understanding and applying relevant customs procedures and ensures the relevant declarations are correctly made.
Managing the necessary documentation and online forms for the efficient, cost-effective, and lawful execution of all import/export activities.
Facilitating continuous review and improvement in the operational transport and trade/customs activities.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International relations or Business Management (required)
1+ Year experience in international logistics, trade and shipment activities
Use of TMS (Transportation Management Systems) preferred
SAP or similar ERP tool knowledge preferred
Advanced English (required)
