Job Details:
We’re looking for someone who’s able to develop and scale a sales team, and someone who can understand the power of our audience for both endemic and non-endemic advertisers. The ideal candidate will have an established record of sales leadership and revenue generation as well as a deep interest and passion for online and print media. This is a management position that oversees a growing team and reports to the Chief Sales Officer.
Job Duties:
Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team
Facilitate sales of integrated advertising packages across TRD’s suite of print and digital ad products + events
Track sales activity through the company’s CRM system (HubSpot) and ensure activity goals are met
Mentor team on sales practices and product knowledge
Assist in the recruitment of new sales representatives and train new team members
Set expectations with the Executive team through timely and accurate forecasting, pipeline, and sales activity reporting
Implement a strategic sales plan with each member of the sales team
Job Requirements:
You have 5+ years of sales leadership experience with a proven track record of success
You have a deep understanding of the print and digital advertising landscape
You are an effective communicator who can inspire others to achieve their best
You are motivated, entrepreneurial, organized, energetic, and able to thrive in a high growth organization
Prior agency and brand direct relationships is a plus
Media and/or real estate experience is a plus.
