Junior Integration Developer (1–3 Years)
Role Summary
A hands-on, development-focused Integration Developer responsible for building and delivering integration components as part of complex enterprise programs. Works under guidance but plays an active role in coding, testing, and supporting scalable integration solutions using Azure Integration Services, with strong emphasis on execution and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities
Core Development (Primary Focus)
Actively develop integration components and workflows using Azure Logic Apps (Consumption/Standard), Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
Write clean, efficient, and production-ready code for integration scenarios involving APIs, messaging, and data transformations.
Implement reusable components and integration patterns under guidance.
API Development & APIM Implementation
Build and expose APIs using Azure API Management (APIM).
Configure and implement APIM policies including authentication, transformations, routing, and basic security controls.
Support end-to-end API development lifecycle including testing and validation.
Testing, Debugging & Issue Resolution
Perform unit testing and integration testing for developed components.
Debug and resolve issues in Dev/Test environments, ensuring quality and stability.
Assist in identifying defects and implementing fixes across integration layers.
Azure DevOps & CI/CD Execution
Actively work with Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions pipelines for build and deployment.
Contribute to CI/CD processes, ensuring code is properly version-controlled and deployed across environments.
Follow release and deployment best practices in delivery-driven projects.
Design & Documentation Support
Contribute to Low-Level Design (LLD) implementation by converting design specs into working code.
Maintain accurate technical documentation, interface mappings, and configurations.
Ensure alignment with defined architecture and coding standards.
Monitoring & Reliability
Implement logging, tracing, and error handling mechanisms using Cribl.
Support production stability efforts by assisting in monitoring and issue resolution.
AI & Copilot-Enabled Development
Use GitHub Copilot / M365 Copilot actively for:
Code generation and optimization
Debugging support and learning best practices
Build strong familiarity with AI-assisted development in real delivery scenarios.
Collaboration in Delivery Teams
Work closely with senior developers, leads, QA, and DevOps teams in fast-paced delivery environments.
Actively participate in agile ceremonies, sprint deliveries, and code reviews.
Demonstrate strong ownership of assigned tasks and commitment to delivery timelines and quality.
Required Skills
Experience: 1–3 years with strong focus on hands-on development.
Azure Integration: Practical experience with Azure Integration Services (AIS).
API Development: Understanding and implementation of REST APIs and APIM basics.
Programming: Solid coding skills in C# / .NET / JavaScript.
Data Formats: Working knowledge of JSON, XML, HTTP protocols.
CI/CD: Experience working with Azure DevOps / Git-based workflows and pipelines.
Integration Knowledge: Basic understanding of messaging, APIs, and system integrations.
AI & Copilot:
Active usage of GitHub Copilot / M365 Copilot in development tasks
Exposure to AI-assisted coding practices
Preferred Skills
Exposure to MuleSoft or other integration platforms.
Basic understanding of event-driven architectures.
Awareness of performance, security, and API best practices.
