Job Description
About the Role
The Investigation Specialist plays a critical role in strengthening organizational performance by leading and supporting structured investigations into incidents, near misses, and other significant events. This role focuses on uncovering true root causes, driving high quality corrective actions, and enabling system level learning across the organization.
Working as part of a global investigations team, the Investigation Specialist collaborates closely with operations, engineering, safety, legal, and compliance stakeholders. The role requires strong investigative capability, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively across frontline teams and senior leadership. Travel to operational and offshore environments is required.
This role is well suited for individuals from diverse technical, operational, and analytical backgrounds who are curious, detail oriented, and motivated to improve how work gets done, not just identify what went wrong.
