Job Description

The Cloud Operations Specialist will support the hosting, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of applications running in Amazon Web Services (AWS), ensuring their stability, availability, and performance. This role focuses on day‑to‑day cloud operations, including assisting with deployments, monitoring system health, performing routine maintenance, responding to incidents, and maintaining documentation, while working collaboratively with internal partners to support reliable and efficient cloud‑based services.

What You Will Do

The Cloud Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of applications hosted in AWS. This role supports day‑to‑day cloud operations, including deployments, monitoring, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance. The specialist will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, assist with onboarding new applications, and maintain documentation to support smooth and efficient cloud services.

  • Support the hosting and deployment of applications in AWS
  • Maintain and monitor cloud‑hosted applications to ensure stability and performance
  • Perform routine updates, configuration changes, and basic administration tasks
  • Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with internal partners to resolve application‑related incidents
  • Document operational procedures, configurations, and technical workflows
  • Support ongoing cloud initiatives and application enhancements within the team
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to onboard new applications into the AWS environment
  • Operate on a flexible shift schedule to support business needs
  • Follow a hybrid work model, with two days per week onsite and remaining days remote

What We Expect

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related technical field
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience supporting AWS cloud environments, infrastructure operations, or related technology roles
  • Hands‑on exposure to AWS services and cloud troubleshooting practices
  • Basic proficiency in scripting or programming (e.g., Python or similar languages) is an advantage
  • AWS certification is an advantage
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail
