  • Ability to independently manage a class and make quick decisions on direction and flow of learning based on class dynamics
  • Ability to coach employees to meet learning goals
  • Ability to speak in front of large groups
  • Ability to consult & present learning solution proposals to site leadership team.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to customer service and team-oriented management
  • Proven ability to quickly adapt and learn new procedures and software programs
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed

  • Strong computer  and Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to learn new information and skills quickly
     

Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office basic suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • CWP and WbW product knowledge subject matter expert preferred
  • Mainframe and/or Jacada navigation proficiency preferred

Job experience

  • One year professional training experience or as job coach/mentor and related presentation experience
  • One year in Wyndham Vacation Ownership Call Center/Consumer Finance inbound or outbound servicing experience preferred
  • Instructional Design experience a plus

Complexity

Describe the following:

Level of decision making authority

Learning Plan adjustments and allocation of resources during training

Content decisions and recommendations to our business partners

Provide classroom Direction, Training, Coaching, Feedback, Motivation and Disciplinary action as warranted

Level of autonomy

  • Moderate Supervision is needed.  This person will receive some direction and developmental support from their Supervisor, and will be required to communicate with and report to the Training Manager.

The impact of his/her decision on the organization

  • Moderate impact as their decisions may impact class performance.

Supervisory responsibility:

  • Has no direct reports & no dotted line report

Scope/Financial Responsibility

  • This position will be expected to work with the Operational Training budget.  The Trainer II will be responsible for ensuring all participants in their class are completing training according to business expectations and will manage all measures associated with the material being trained.  They will also be responsible for managing the process to maintain quality and accurate training material to ensure accurate information is delivered.
