Job Description

Why Nasdaq

When you work at Nasdaq, you’re working for more open and transparent markets so that more people can access opportunities. Connections can be made, jobs can be created, and communities can thrive. We want all our employees to have access to opportunity, too. That means planning for career growth, ensuring you have the tools you need, and promoting an inclusive culture where we’re all valued for our unique perspective.

Here, you will work for a global tech leader committed to breaking down barriers to inclusive prosperity. We see technology as a means to free people up to work together more productively and effectively by centralizing data, analytics, and market intelligence.

Here, we’re committed to building a more diverse and inclusive workforce. Not only is it our responsibility to do better, but we also need representative voices to power the fresh thinking that is vital for our business and our clients.

What We Offer

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic group of Project Manager professionals responsible for managing Nasdaq Market Technology projects as part of the Nasdaq Client Success organization. You would join a team dedicated to orchestrating and implementing projects with precision. From initiation to completion, we use diverse skills sets in planning, communication and problem-solving to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. With a collaborative mindset, our team navigates challenges, adapts to change, and fosters an environment where innovation thrives.

You can expect an autonomous but fast-paced work environment where you are recognized for your results and ability to drive things forward. Every day brings many opportunities to learn and grow and rewards with a global impact we create.

In return, you will receive a competitive salary package, incredible private health insurance, employee stock purchase plan, a global mentoring program, counseling through our Employee Assistance Program, gym sponsorship and more.

What You Will Do

  • Lead global, cross-functional teams to deliver scoped solutions on time and within budget.

  • Overall project planning and follow up working closely with the Nasdaq sales representative and your counterpart project manager at the customer side

  • Own the end-to-end project lifecycle—from initiation and planning through client acceptance.

  • Manage stakeholders and steering committees; provide clear status, risk, and quality updates.

  • Build and manage budgets, forecasts, change controls, and commercial reporting.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks; remove roadblocks and escalate early when needed.

What We Expect

  • A degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or other related field

  • Overall experience of 10+ years with at least 5 years in a technology/project management role for complex systems in financial markets.

  • Proven track record leading large, multi-stakeholder deliveries end-to-end to customer acceptance.

  • Strong client engagement skills; effective communicator in matrixed, cross-time-zone settings.

  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle; familiarity with financial technology and market infrastructure.

  • A strong inner drive and motivation, thriving in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge and experience from working in a cross-functional environment and an understanding of the whole Software Developer lifecycle (requirements, architecture, development and verification)

  • Flexibility to take meetings outside work hours and some travel for business (about 2 times a year)

What Would Be Helpful

  • Experience from delivery projects to Market Infrastructure Operators

  • Experience from both agile and traditional Waterfall project methodology

  • Experience from Leading other Project Managers as the Program Manager, and an interest in mentoring others to help develop the Project teams and our Project Management team

  • Experience as a developer, Business Analyst, Solution Architect or similar

  • Experience as a Scrum Master and in managing agile projects

  • PMP/Prince2 or Agile certification.

The final job level for this position will be determined after evaluating each candidate's experience and skills.
