Meet the team:
We are seeking a highly experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead and optimize our high-volume production operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with local Malaysian Direct labors, fostering collaboration, and driving operational excellence. At least 3 working years in a managerial role would be an added advantage.

Production Oversight: You will manage day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet production targets and quality standards.
Process Optimization: You will develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
Team Leadership: You will supervise and mentor production teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Local Workforce Engagement: You will leverage a deep understanding of Malaysian work culture to enhance team performance and motivation.
Quality Control: You will ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality assurance protocols.
Safety & Compliance: You will maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety regulations.
Resource Management: You will allocate resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
Performance Monitoring: You will track key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Manufacturing Environment: You will manage a manufacturing environment that includes a mix of highly manual and highly automated processes.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain, engineering, procurement, quality, facility, and IT teams to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes.
Employee Development: Conduct training programs to upskill the workforce and improve operational performance.
Crisis Management: Develop contingency plans for unexpected disruptions in production or supply chain.
Strategic Planning: Develop long-term manufacturing strategies to support business growth and market demands.
Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high-quality production standards.
What makes you successful:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field with 8-12 years of industry experience and 2-5 years of previous management or lead experience
You have proven experience managing high-volume manufacturing operations.
You demonstrate strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
You bring extensive experience working with local Malaysian teams, fostering collaboration and operational efficiency.
You are knowledgeable in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Your communication and organizational skills are excellent.
