The Work Transfer Project Coordinator ensures compliance with the Collins Work Transfer procedure while leading strategic transitions of machine parts to domestic and international suppliers. Build strong cross-functional relationships, communicate project status clearly across all levels, and manage multiple projects with clear priorities and timely execution. Address setbacks by driving solutions and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers. Act as the central point of contact across key functions, provide regular project updates, and lead continuous improvement efforts, including root cause and corrective action (RCCA) to resolve process and schedule.
What You Will Do:
Ensure use and compliance to COL-PRO-0008 (Collins Work Transfer procedure)
Lead strategic transition of machined parts to both domestic and international suppliers in the traditional and SBU-specific Work Transfer processes
Build strong collaborative relationships with all internal customers, stakeholders, and project team members
Effectively communicate project status to all levels of the organization through various mediums
Establish project priorities and ensure timely execution of concurrent multiple projects
Lead resolution of project setbacks including identifying alternate solutions, internal Collins escalation, interfacing with supplier leadership, etc. to ensure timely execution of projects
Serve as key point of contact with Commodity, Strategic Business Units, Engineering, Quality, Supplier Performance, Contracts, Global Trade, Regional Offices and Suppliers
Present and provide project updates to all levels of the organization
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for the team, as well as the timely analysis and development of all RCCA needed to address process integrity and schedule delays
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Operations disciplines, or related area with increasing responsibility
2+ years Project Management Experience
Experience using Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and other formulas, to compare, extract, and analyze data efficiently, supporting accurate and timely data handling
Experience working with SAP systems for data management

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
