Own first of kind deal structures where precedent does not exist and define success criteria, partner responsibilities, and internal operating requirements.
  • Create and maintain contract templates across DIRECTV Advertising products (advertising, technology, and data), coordinating internal reviews, revisions, and active negotiation redlines to improve speed, consistency, and risk posture.
  • Own contract deal terms end-to-end, including organizing and tracking all negotiated items; serve as the first line of defense for contract interpretation questions and partner with Legal on interpretation discussions and guidance as needed.
  • Coordinate cross-functional launch readiness (technical integration, QA, measurement, billing, and partner enablement) and oversee ongoing optimization to maximize yield, fill, and advertiser outcomes; drive issue triage and post-launch improvements.
  • Create, maintain, and/or partner with Product Marketing to develop pitch materials (e.g., product overviews, partner proposals, business cases, and go-to-market narratives) to support commercialization across priority partner segments, including Programmer Services.
  • Represent DIRECTV Advertising externally with senior partner stakeholders and internally with executive leadership; create executive-ready materials (deal summaries, QBR readouts, performance insights, and recommendations) that drive timely decisions.
  • Establish operating cadence and governance forums (e.g., monthly and quarterly partner syncs, executive reviews, cross-functional working sessions) that drive alignment, accountability, and forward momentum across senior stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain executive level relationships with key external partners, functioning as a trusted advisor and ensuring DIRECTV is positioned as a preferred long-term collaborator.

  • Strong understanding of DAI, ad decisioning, measurement, and programmatic concepts; familiarity with privacy and data governance considerations and their impact on commercialization.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong contract interpretation skills, including identifying key terms, obligations, and risks in complex commercial agreements.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence without authority, and manage executive-level relationships.
  • Excellent quantitative and written communication skills, including business case development and performance reporting.
