About the role

About the role

At VELUX, we believe that great products are created when development and production work hand in hand. We are now looking for a Technical Project Manager who will play a central role in bridging our Product Development organisation and our Product Introduction Factory, helping us bring high-quality products into stable and efficient assembly processes.

In this role, you will drive the industrialisation of new products, implement new assembly technologies and processes, and ensure effective collaboration across teams and sites. If you are motivated by meaningful teamwork, innovative solutions, and creating value for our manufacturing organisation, this could be the opportunity for you.

Your responsibilities

As Technical Project Manager, you will:

  • Serve as the primary link between Development and the Product Introduction Factory in all matters related to assembly
  • Ensure a seamless transition from early design stages to fully industrialised production, including DFA, assembly concepts, pilot builds, and validation
  • Lead the implementation of new assembly technologies, methods and digital tools that improve our production performance
  • Translate design requirements into robust and cost-efficient assembly solutions in close collaboration with designers, production engineers, and manufacturing specialists
  • Manage suppliers and technology partners to secure the right solutions and quality
  • Drive production readiness activities throughout the project lifecycle and ensure a solid handover to volume production
  • Facilitate collaboration across P&I (Product & Innovation), Production Engineering, Quality and Supply teams
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing learnings and enabling knowledge flow between development teams and the production plant

Your qualifications

  • A technical university degree or equivalent background
  • Extensive experience within assembly processes, manufacturing engineering and industrialisation
  • A natural ability to connect people, enable cross-functional collaboration and align stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of design for assembly (DFA) principles
  • Documented project management skills and the ability to lead activities from concept to implementation
  • A structured and solution-oriented mindset
  • Experience working in an international organisation and a matrix structure
  • Advanced communication skills in English (spoken and written)
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 15–25 days per year)

What we offer

  • A respectful and supportive culture based on trust
  • Stable employment with a company present in Poland for 35 years
  • A motivated and friendly team, with plenty of opportunities to grow and learn
  • Annual performance-based bonus
  • Flexible working hours
  • Private medical care, life insurance, and a Multisport card
  • An Employee Pension Scheme (3.5%) fully paid by VELUX (offered after first 6 months of cooperation)
  • Support through our Social Fund
  • Support from the VELUX Employee Foundation
  • Discounts on VELUX products and more
