The job:
As the Warehouse Associate, you will have responsibility for arranging inbound and outbound transportation.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage domestic and international truckload and LTL freight.
- Assist with customer and intracompany orders.
- Use forklift and electric pallet jack to load and unload pallets.
- Apply labels to the boxes and scan them into the system.
- Receive, transfer and send orders using the inventory system.
- Change agent to support “best of class” logistics processes.
- Support the freight needs of production and distribution centers.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Systems
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to cope with ambiguity and problem solve.
- Strong communication skills
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or other related focus preferred (commensurate experience considered in lieu of education)
- Proficient in Microsoft System
