Job Description:

The WIPD R&D Group Chennai is responsible for design & pre-silicon verification of wireless devices.

• The verification engineer should be able to perform IP/WSS verification of wireless protocols.
• IP verification environment and testcase development using the methodology adapted by WSG
• Verification plan to be created based on the IP/Product Specification documentation.

• Development of test environments using System Verilog and UVM verification methodologies.
• Generate Code/Functional coverage, analyze coverage results and correlate with the test plan.
• Working the design team members to identify and quickly resolve problems with the design.
• Bring a self-motivated and enthusiastic approach that will achieve any new requirements and overcome all challenge

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
• 3-7 years of experience in IP/Subsystem/SoC verification
• Sound knowledge of SV/UVM based verification methodology.
• Should have worked on IP and subsystem verification exhaustively.
• Strong expertise in SystemVerilog and C based coding for verification
• Extensive knowledge of Verification flows and techniques at the RTL and gate level simulation using SV/UVM flows
• Knowledgeable in the use of Digital Simulation Environment e.g. NC-SIM (incl. Code Coverage, Assertions).
  Good communication skills to work in a cross functional international team with analog, digital and software design engineers.
