About the role

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide governance and support for Vendor Master Data and Material Master processes.
  • Ensure process compliance and governance across Purchasing operations.
  • Participate in local and global projects, including process improvements, system enhancements, and implementation of new solutions.
  • Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities, recommend solutions, and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure effective knowledge sharing and business continuity.
  • Facilitate effective communication between the Business, Process Experts, and VELUX Operations India (VOI Procurement).
  • Act as the first point of contact for process-related queries, providing support, guidance, and training to end users and colleagues.
  • Support the management of deviations from standard process flows using Lean principles.
  • Contribute to the development and standardization of purchasing processes and best practices.

Our Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in Vendor Master Data and/or Material Master processes.
  • Good understanding of the Source-to-Pay (S2P) process, particularly Purchasing.
  • Practical knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience with SAP Ariba SLP and SBN.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including working with large datasets.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders across different functions and organizational levels.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand operational and commercial impacts.
  • Experience driving process improvements and implementing best practices.
  • Ability to balance business requirements with governance and compliance.
  • Willingness to share knowledge, coach colleagues, and contribute to team development.
  • Confidence to challenge existing processes constructively and recommend improvements.
  • Experience working in an international or matrix organization.
