Job Overview

The Nurse Practitioner of Perinatal provides medical services to patients, ensuring appropriate and professional medical services. 

Minimum Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Baccalaureate school of nursing.

  • Graduation from an accredited Graduate women’s health nurse practitioner program.

  • Completed training in the diagnosis and management of common as well as some complex medical conditions.

  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the CA Board of Registered Nursing.

  • Current Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number by the CA Board of Registered Nursing.

  • Current certification through The National Certification Corporation as a Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC).

  • Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in women’s health care post-degree required.

  • Previous experience with computer-based systems is required; Electronic Medical Records experience is required.

  • Completion of the AWHONN Perinatal Orientation and Education Program and Fetal Heart Monitoring Program courses is required within 6 months of hire.

  • A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Pay for this job starts at $160,680.00 annually
