Job Description

The HVAC Technician is responsible for ensuring the comfort of guests by maintaining the property's climate control and refrigeration systems to the highest standards. This role combines advanced technical expertise with a "guest-first" mindset, requiring quick, professional responses to services requests in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.

The HVAC Technician maintains, troubleshoots and repairs all heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems across the hotel property.
 

  • Assist our internal departments’ staff with all service calls, as well as manage the overall upkeep of our commercial facilities.

  • Complete all assigned work orders efficiently and to Resort standards.

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and Refrigeration equipment to ensure longevity and proper usage.

  • Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled.

  • Perform light plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.

  • Must possess good organizational and communication skills.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of commercial HVAC experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or similar high-end hospitality environment.

  • HVAC Certified

Physical Requirements:

  • Must lift equipment, supplies, etc. of at least 30 pounds.

  • Must resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure.

  • The role may require extended time on your feet, especially during peak hotel hours or events.

  • Clear vision is important for reading reports, analyzing data, and overseeing Concierge activities.

  • Good hearing is necessary for effective communication with colleagues, guests, and stakeholders.
