Vice President, Client Service (Media)
Locations: (Hybrid) Chicago, IL, New York, NY
Role Summary:
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven VP to lead client engagement, strategic program delivery, and cross-functional coordination for Google. This role is critical to ensuring business growth, the seamless execution of large-scale programs, enterprise initiatives, and operational excellence across a complex portfolio of programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Engagement
Conduct senior-level client engagements, including 1:1 meetings and strategic discussions
Lead and mentor internal teams to elevate client service standards
Identify and pursue business development opportunities, providing thought leadership and crafting proposals
Develop and present thought leadership pieces to internal and external audiences
Establish and manage global internal communication rhythms, including method and frequency
Act as senior sponsor for key client and internal initiatives
Program Oversight & Delivery Excellence
Lead client servicing and oversee strategic product development, including bespoke AI and API deployments
Ensure successful execution of subscription and maintenance programs aligned with long-term business goals
Operational Governance & Financial Management
Manage opportunity pipelines, financial forecasting, and budget oversight
Coordinate financial planning across programs and cross-functional teams
Culture & Organizational Development
Champion internal engagement and foster a strong team culture
Promote transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement across global teams
Essential Knowledge and Experience
Minimum of 12 years of progressive leadership experience in client servicing and program delivery
Proven track record in managing complex, multi-region programs and cross-functional teams
Familiarity with AI applications in research, API delivery, and related contracting and scoping (in partnership with specialist functions)
Demonstrated experience in developing and presenting thought leadership content
Essential Skills & Capabilities
Senior-level communication and relationship management skills
Strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into actionable programs
Strong organizational and planning capabilities across multiple concurrent initiatives
Ability to lead through influence and foster collaboration across diverse teams
Proficiency in budget oversight, technical coordination, and operational governance

The salary range for this role is $122,700 - $204,500 Annual. Your final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
