Job Description Summary:

This position plays a key role in shaping the people foundation for a brand-new greenfield plant. As  People & Culture Manager you'll act as a strategic business partner, providing support and expertise in all aspects of people management. You'll work closely with the leadership team to establish strategic and operational directions and build a high-performing culture from the ground up.

Role Purpose

Serve as the architect and catalyst of cultural, organizational, and talent development at the new plant, ensuring that every employee lives the KO purpose and values from the very start of operations, and building a competitive advantage through a distinctive employee experience.

Responsibilities
Greenfield Plant Setup & Culture Building:

  • Strategic Workforce Planning: Collaborate with leadership to define the plant's talent needs, considering future growth and operational requirements.
  • Organizational Design & Culture Development: Partner with leadership to build a high-performing team. Implement an onboarding program that fosters belonging and engagement from day one. Champion a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with our company's values.
  • Talent & Development
    Design and implement the knowledge and best‑practice transfer plan from the current plant to the new plant Operations team, incorporating learnings from the Company’s Greenfield experiences. Activate Talent Maps and knowledge transfer and training plans that enable an agile and productive operation.
  • Lead Cultural Transformation and Purpose
  • Define, communicate, and role-model the KO purpose and values throughout each stage of the startup and stabilization cycle.
  • Act as a strategic partner to leaders, enabling the agile adoption of the desired culture and managing the human impact of change

HR Programs & Processes:

  • Establish People & Culture programs: Implement HR policies, processes, and systems that comply with local regulations, industry best practices, and aligned to company's overall P&C framework.
  • Talent Acquisition & Development: Manage recruitment strategy to attract top talent aligned with the plant's needs. Collaborate on the development of the capabilities strategy to assure mindset, skills and knowledge for the brand-new greenfield plant.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Implement defined C&B strategies as per company's compensation framework to attract and retain top talent, considering local market practices and employee needs.
  • Performance Management: Implement our company’s performance management system that aligns individual goals with organizational objectives and provides regular feedback and coaching to drive employee development.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement: Foster positive employee relations, address concerns promptly and fairly, and implement programs to boost employee engagement and morale. Prepare proactive and contingency plans to manage potential union-related scenarios in the new operation.
  • People Analytics & Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Implement people analytics practices, developing indicators to measure climate, engagement, initiative impact, and to anticipate talent trends.
    • Drive objective, agile decision-making aligned with business goals and the scalable growth of the plant.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Compliance & Risk Management: Maintain compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and company policies. Identify and mitigate HR-related risks.
  • Community Relations: Foster positive community partnerships, in collaboration with PACS, to ensure our operations benefit the local community and attract top talent.

Requirements:
 

  • Proven experience in startups, cultural transformation, and People & Culture project management in high-demand environments. Minimum 8 years of HR experience with strong business partnering skills in a large multinational organization.
  • University degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management. Master's degree a plus
  • Deep knowledge of current trends in organizational development, wellbeing, and people analytics.
  • Innovative, collaborative, and purpose-driven mindset.
  • .Experience in the manufacturing industry is a must.
  • Strong understanding of local labor laws, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and adaptable to change.
  • Strong leadership, influence, resilience, and strategic thinking capabilities.
