BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as Intern for Quality Management System at our production plant in Viana, Portugal.
Key Responsibilities:
Systematic follow-up of audit actions:
- Structured recording of corrective, preventive, and improvement actions;
- Regular updates on action status in management tools (Action Plans, trackers, QMS software – AGIR).
Timely closure of actions with evidence of effectiveness:
- Ensure compliance with defined deadlines;
- Validate the effectiveness of implemented actions based on objective criteria (e.g., absence of recurrence, improvement of indicators).
Effective interaction with multidisciplinary teams:
- Clear and proactive communication with action owners;
- Support in clarifying regulatory requirements and defining appropriate actions.
Improved traceability and transparency in the audit process:
- Organize supporting documentation for audits and actions;
- Contribute to progress reports and monitoring dashboards.
Development of competencies in automotive standards:
- Practical application of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, TISAX, and Core Tools requirements;
- Participation in training sessions or review of internal standards and procedures.
Profile We are looking for:
- Education: Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Management, or related fields;
- Basic understanding of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949);
- Familiarity with management tools (Excel, Power BI, QMS)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Good communication and teamwork abilities;
- Proactive and deadline-oriented.
- Intermediate English level;
