About the role
The Equipment Services Dispatcher & Customer Service Representative acts as the primary liaison between operations (internal), service vendors (external), and internal management. This role is responsible for receiving service requests, scheduling preventative maintenance, dispatching vendors to repair sites, and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong communication skills, and has a keen attention to detail.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Handle a high volume of incoming calls, emails, and online requests, providing exceptional customer service. Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and address customer concerns regarding repairs
Schedule and coordinate service calls efficiently to service vendors. Dispatch vendors based on location and equipment competencies to meet service commitments. Primarily focused on Preventative Maintenance activities until knowledge grows.
Act as the main point of contact for field units, providing necessary information and updates throughout the day.
Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer records and service histories in the company service software (CMMS) system.
Assist in closing work orders, providing PO’s and approving invoices for timely payment to vendors.

Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
1–3 years of experience in dispatching, customer service, or service coordination.
Proficiency in service software, Microsoft Outlook/Office, and other technology tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong telephone etiquette.
Ability to work quickly and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced, sometimes hectic, environment.
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
Previous experience in heavy equipment, HVAC, or service dispatching.
Experience in mobile medical imaging
Physical Requirements:
Standard office environment.
More than 50% of the time:
Sit, stand, and walk.
Repetitive movement of hands, arms and legs.
See, speak and hear to be able to communicate with patients.
Less than 50% of the time:
Stoop, kneel or crawl.
Climb and balance.
